About the artists:
Andy Quirk
Blacksmithing has been in Andy's family for hundreds of years, which probably explains his fascination for the magical combination of a hammer and hot iron. Andy began his apprenticeship at Unicorn Forge at the age of sixteen and was trained in the art of traditional blacksmithing by three old-school Master-blacksmiths.
He took over the company in 1990 and began practicing the art of contemporary metalwork, developing his own unique style.
Robert Kranenborg
Robert joined Utopia Forge in 1996, after travelling around the country and completing his apprenticeship with Michael E. Roberts FWCB. He has forged a strong partnership with Andy and together they have produced many wonderful works of art.
